DDH Mobile Tint

How long does new window tint take to cure?

Keep your windows up for 3 to 4 days after install. That gives the film time to bond to the glass.

Why it looks hazy or has small water spots

Tint goes on with a water solution. For the first several days you may see a light haze or small pockets of moisture. That's normal and it dries out on its own. Don't press on them.

Cold weather takes longer

In Ohio winters, full curing can take a couple of weeks. The film is still fine to drive with, it just needs more time for the last moisture to dry. Parking in the sun or a garage speeds it up.

Cleaning after install

Wait a week, then use a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner. Ammonia can damage film over time.
