Ceramic vs carbon window tint: which should you get?
Both are quality films that won't fade to purple. The difference comes down to heat and budget.
Carbon
Carbon film has a deep, matte black look and blocks UV and glare well. It's the budget-friendly choice and a big upgrade over cheap dyed tint. On a full car it starts at $245.
Ceramic
Ceramic film adds infrared heat blocking, which is the heat you feel on your skin. At the same shade, ceramic keeps the cabin cooler than carbon. It's the better pick if your car sits in the sun, you have kids in the back, or you want a lighter legal shade up front without giving up comfort. Full car starts at $300.
Our honest take
If heat is your main problem, go ceramic. If you mostly want the look and privacy, carbon is great value. Both come with our 10-year warranty, and we install either one at your home or work.
