Why old tint turns purple
Cheap dyed films lose their color as the dye breaks down in the sun. The film turns purple and the adhesive lets go, which causes bubbles. New ceramic and carbon films don't use dye, so they don't go purple, and ours carry a 10-year warranty against it.
Rear window defroster lines
We take extra care on the back glass so the defroster lines stay intact. Old film comes off slowly with steam and the right tools, not a razor across the lines.
Areas we come to
We install old tint removal at your home or work in Columbus, Dublin, Hilliard, Westerville, Grove City, Gahanna, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Powell, Lewis Center, Reynoldsburg, and Pickerington.
